ReStoried
Stories are woven into the fabric of who we are. Individually, communally, culturally: we ebb and flow on the tides of narratives whenever we create meanings, memories, and identities.
ReStoried is a podcast that invites us to step into the grand story of Scripture as we try to understand the most significant areas of life. Through thoughtful conversations, biblical insights, and reflections on how Jesus’ story shapes our own, we explore what it means to live in light of a narrative greater than ourselves.

-
Episode 1: Welcome to ReStoried
In our pilot episode, we introduce ourselves and what Re-Storied is all about. Join us as we remember our earliest introductions to the stories that formed us, and why we see ourselves being most formed by the story found in the pages of Scripture.
-
Episode 2: How the Story Begins
We start our six-part series on the Biblical narrative. Following this series, we’ll dive into conversations around big ideas, but for now we spend a bit of time walking through the overall story of Scripture.
-
Episode 3: How the Story Falls Apart
We continue our way through the Biblical narrative with the part of the story where things fall apart. It’s not a comfortable place to hang out, but it matters.
-
Episode 4: How the Story Loops
Using the covenants of Scripture to walk through the story, we take a look at the ways that the biblical narrative cycles, building up anticipation to one who fulfills all hopes.
-
Episode 5: The Main Character of the Story
We continue our overview of the Bible’s whole story, exploring all of the ways that Jesus is its main character long before we learn his name.
-
Episode 6: The Story Isn't Over
As we come to the “end” (that isn’t really an end) of the Bible’s story, we take a look at the ways early Jesus-following communities tried to figure out life.
-
Episode 7: This is the Story
We wrap up our six-part series on the biblical narrative with a quick recap. We talk through the ways that this story shapes us, broadly and theologically, but also personally and specifically.
-
Episode 8: Kingdom of God, Part 1
In the first episode of our first theme series, we welcome you to the conversation about the kingdom of God. What does that phrase even mean, anyway? What is the kingdom of God? What isn't it?
-
Episode 9: Kingdom of God, Part 2
We dive into how "kingdom of God" is woven through the stories of creation, Abraham, and Sinai. Turns out, it's not something that first shows up in the preaching of Jesus. It's the whole worldview of the first pages of Scripture.
-
Episode 10: Kingdom of God, Part 3
How is "kingdom of God" woven through the eras of the judges, kings, and exile? In this conversation, we tackle that question, thinking through hope (when all hope seems lost) and the tug-of-war we all experience.
-
Episode 11: Kingdom of God, Part 4
We cross into the New Testament, looking at the arrival of the King who's anticipated through the whole story. What does it mean for the kingdom to be the Gospel that Jesus preached? How do the crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension advance the kingdom of God?
-
Episode 12: Kingdom of God, Part 5
In the last pages of Scripture's story, how is "kingdom" a prevailing theme? We look at Acts, epistles, and Revelation together, amped up about THE king, then oh-so-cautiously tie this conversation to current events.
-
Episode 13: Kingdom of God, Part 6
In most episodes, we ask “so what?” and “now what?” to close the conversation. As we wrap up this series on the Kingdom of God, we’ve got a whole episode of so-what-now-what ideas.
-
Episode 14: Identity, Part 1
What does it mean - really - to be human? And why did we choose "identity" as the theme of our new series anyway? Jump in with us for a biblical theology of our human identity. We look at the creation account and what it means for us to be image and dust.
-
Episode 15: Identity, Part 2
How was our human identity impacted by the introduction of sin and brokenness? We look at the ripples in the biblical narrative as well as in our own lives and the cultural moment as we try to answer that question.
